Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the third trading session of the week, the domestic benchmark indices opened in the green, and even at 11.49 am, both were spotted in the positive territory. Sensex climbed 1.27 per cent and was seen trading at 57,787.21 levels while Nifty inched higher by 1.20 per cent to be at 17,187.00 levels.
IndusInd Bank, Maruti, and Axis Bank emerged as the top three gainers today, which surged 5.48 per cent, 3.49 per cent & 3.09 per cent, respectively.
