Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the red on the last trading day of the week. Even at 11.37 am, both Sensex and Nifty were seen trading in the negative territory. While Sensex slipped 1.90 per cent at 57,675.80 levels, Nifty plunged 1.95 per cent at 17,194.60 levels.
The top three gainers of today's session included Dr Reddy's, Nestle, and TCS, which surged 3.84 per cent, 0.70 per cent & 0.27 per cent, respectively.
