Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the red on the fourth trading session of the week. However, at 11.14 am, both Sensex and Nifty were spotted in the green zone. Sensex was up by 0.32 per cent at 58,525.57 levels while Nifty inched higher by 0.20 per cent to be at 17,449.20 levels.
The top three gainers of today's session include Reliance Industries, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, and Kotak Mahindra Bank, which surged 3.77 per cent, 1.46 per cent & 1.20 per cent, respectively.
