Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the positive territory on the first day of the week. At 11.12 am, both Sensex and Nifty gained 0.28 per cent & 0.26 per cent, trading at 60,818.91 and 18,135.50 levels, respectively.
The top three gainers of today’s session include Power Grid, Asian Paints, and ITC, which surged 2.53 per cent, 1.52 per cent & 0.99 per cent, respectively.
