Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the negative territory on the fourth day of the week. At 11.05 am, both Sensex and Nifty plunged 0.80 per cent & 0.85 per cent, trading at 59,876.63 and 17,866.70 levels, respectively.
The top three gainers of today’s session include Titan, L&T, and Tata Steel, which surged 1.72 per cent, 1.36 per cent & 0.36 per cent, respectively.
