Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the green zone on the second trading session of the week and even at 11.22 am, both were trading in the positive territory. While Sensex was up by 0.03 per cent at 60,157.73 levels, Nifty was at 17,937.65 levels, up by 0.04 per cent.
Maruti, NTPC, and Titan emerged as the top three gainers today, inching higher by 3.45 per cent, 1.94 per cent & 1.26 per cent, respectively.
