Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the red zone on the fourth trading session of the week. On Thursday at 11.23 am, Sensex and Nifty plunged 0.80 per cent & 0.91 per cent and were seen trading at 60,654.30 & 18,045.30 levels, respectively.
Meanwhile, Induslnd Bank, L&T, and Maruti emerged as the top three gainers today, which climbed 5.31 per cent, 2.47 per cent & 1.83 per cent, respectively.
