Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the third trading session of the week, both Sensex and Nifty were spotted in the green zone. At 11.07 am, Sensex inched higher by 0.12 per cent at 61,423.06 levels while Nifty climbed 0.17 per cent to be at 18,299.15 levels.
Asian Paints, Sun Pharmaceuticals, and ICICI Bank emerged as the top three gainers today, which climbed 4.85 per cent, 2.70 per cent & 1.97 per cent, respectively.
