Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the last trading day of the week, both Sensex and Nifty opened in the green. However, at 11.41 am, Nifty plunged 0.05 per cent and was seen trading at 18,168.60 levels while Sensex was still in the green, up by 0.14 per cent at 61,011.23 levels.
Bajaj Finserv, HDFC, and Bajaj Auto emerged as the top three gainers today, inching higher by 2.61 per cent, 2.19 per cent & 1.55 per cent, respectively.
