Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On Thursday, the domestic benchmark indices opened in the green but soon, slipped into negative territory. At 11.16 am, Sensex was seen trading at 60,727.01, down by 0.87 per cent while Nifty inched lower by 0.70 per cent at 18,139.25.
Kotak Mahindra Bank, Power Grid, and HDFC are the top three gainers of today’s session, which climbed 2.67 per cent, 0.77 per cent & 0.36 per cent, respectively.
