Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On Tuesday, the domestic benchmark indices opened on a positive note. Sensex crossed the 62,000 mark for the first time and even Nifty was seen trading above the 18,500 mark. At 11.32 am, Sensex was up by 0.54 per cent at 62,099.84 levels while Nifty was at 18,560.10, up by 0.45 per cent.
Tech Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro, and Infosys emerged as the top three gainers today, inching higher by 4.09 per cent, 2.85 per cent & 1.93 per cent, respectively.
