Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the first trading session of the week, the domestic benchmark indices opened in the positive territory. Even at 11.50 am, both Sensex and Nifty were spotted in the green zone. Sensex was seen trading at 61,805.14 levels, up by 0.81 per cent while Nifty inched higher by 0.87 per cent at 18,497.30.
Titan, Tata Steel and Infosys emerged as the top three gainers today, which surged 2.92 per cent, 2.89 per cent & 2.85 per cent, respectively.
