Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the positive territory on the fourth trading session of the week. At 11.29 am, Sensex was trading at 61,169.24, up by 0.71 per cent while Nifty was at 18,311.60, climbing 0.83 per cent.
The top three gainers of today’s session include ITC, Tech Mahindra, and Larsen & Toubro, which surged 3.99 per cent, 3.14 per cent & 2.67 per cent, respectively.
