Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened on a negative note on Tuesday and even at 11.15 am, both Sensex and Nifty were trading in the red zone. Sensex was down by 0.06 per cent at 59,263.31 while Nifty was at 17,687.15, down by 0.02 per cent.
Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints, and Induslnd Bank emerged as the top three gainers today, inching higher by 2.16 per cent, 1.33 per cent & 1.29 per cent, respectively.
