Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The market opened in red for the third consecutive day. On Friday at 11.31 am, Sensex was trading at 58,757.98, down by 0.62 per cent while Nifty was at 17,520.85, down by 0.55 per cent.
Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Steel, and UltraTech Cement emerged as the top three gainers today, inching higher by 2.03 per cent, 1.43 per cent & 0.50 per cent, respectively.
