Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
Extending the losses of the previous day, both Sensex and Nifty opened mildly in red on the last day of the month. At 11.19 am on Thursday, Sensex was trading at 59,376.93, down by 0.06 per cent while Nifty was at 17,691.40, down by 0.11 per cent.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, and Titan emerged as the top three gainers today, inching higher by 2.40 per cent, 1.77 per cent & 1.22 per cent, respectively.
