Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the last working day of the week, Sensex opened at a record level, crossing 60 thousand for the first time! At 11.16 am on Friday, Sensex was seen trading at 60,211.84, up by 0.55 per cent while Nifty was up by 0.48 per cent at 17,908.15.
The top three gainers of today’s session include Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel and HCL Technologies, which are up by 4.44 per cent, 3.13 per cent & 2.38 per cent, respectively.
