Ethanol Manufacturer Bags New Orders Worth Rs 993,94,31,620 From BPCL, IOCL & HPCL

Gulshan Polyols Ltd has successfully secured a significant order for the supply of ethanol. The company participated in a tender floated by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) for the Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) 24-25 and was awarded a quantity of 142,222 kilolitres of ethanol, valued at approximately Rs 993,94,31,620. This allocation was made across various locations nationwide under the Ethanol Blended Petrol Program (EBPP).

The order was awarded by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) (collectively referred to as OMCs). The contract is domestic in nature, as both the company and the OMCs are based within India. The order entails the allocation of a specific quantity of ethanol for supply to OMCs during ESY 24-25. The time period for executing the order aligns with the ESY 2024-25 timeframe.

On Wednesday, shares of Gulshan Polyols Ltd surged 9.71 per cent to Rs 217 per share with an intraday high of Rs 234.30 and an intraday low of Rs 205.60. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 262.95 and a 52-week low of Rs 158.05.

Gulshan Polyols Ltd is one of the largest manufacturers of Precipitated Calcium Carbonate and Sorbitol in India. It is a market leader with a substantial market share in the respective segments. Talking about the financials, Gulshan Polyols Ltd has a market cap of Rs 1,354 crore.
