Eros International surges 16 per cent as Q4 profit jumps 85 per cent
The share price of Eros International spiked approx 16 per cent on the bourses on an intraday basis on Thursday after the company reported consolidated net profit jump of 85.31 per cent at Rs. 58.69 crores for the fourth quarter ended March 31 against Rs. 31.67 crore during the previous fiscal year.
The total expenses for the year ending March, 2018 was at Rs. 173.45 crore against the total income of Rs. 1,010.01 for the same fiscal year.
On Thursday, the stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 140.25 per share and an intraday low of Rs. 124.60 per share on BSE. Currently, it is trading 89.33 per cent below its 52-week high and 15.82 per cent above its 52-week low.
At 12:29 hours, the shares of Eros International Media were quoting at Rs. 136.65 per share, up by Rs. 17.60 or 14.30 per cent against its previous closing of Rs 119.55. Meanwhile, S&P BSE was trading at 34,537.54 up by Rs 192.63 or 0.56 per cent.
