S Chand and Company Limited has completed the acquisition of the remaining 49 per cent equity stake in BPI (India) Private Limited, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. This strategic move was finalized for an aggregate consideration of Rs 4.16 crore. The acquisition aligns with S Chand's ongoing efforts to strengthen its position in the educational content sector. By fully integrating BPI, S Chand aims to enhance its operational capabilities and expand its market reach.

3S Chand & Company, established in 1970 and listed in 2016, is a leading provider of educational content in India. The company operates across several segments, including K-12, higher education, and early learning, offering a diverse portfolio of over 11,000 titles. S Chand's distribution network is extensive, with 5,000 distributors and dealers, supported by a robust in-house sales team. The company has a significant international presence, providing content to over 15 countries and digital content across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. S Chand is also involved in digital education through platforms like S Chand Academy on YouTube.
