eClerx announces acquisition of Personiv; stock gains by nearly 22 per cent in a month

eClerx Services announced that it is acquiring Eclipse Global Holdings LLC (Personiv), which is an Austin, Texas-headquartered company having its operations in business process management & services, with a special focus on the outsourced accounting space.   

Through this acquisition, eClerx, which is a business process management, analytics & automation services enterprise, will see an addition of 2,000 team members and 3 delivery centres to its already existing count of more than 8,500 employees and 14 locations worldwide.  

Personiv has offices in the US, India & the Philippines and is engaged in providing robust outsourced accounting solution to its digital, customer operations, and financial market offerings. This acquisition would benefit eClerx in expanding its geographical reach through Personiv. 

Commenting on the acquisition, PD Mundhra, eClerx’s Co-founder & Executive Director said, “We have been impressed by Personiv’s capabilities, which have reflected in the deep and meaningful client relationships that they have developed over the years. We feel that our two companies share a strong people & client-centric culture and are a good fit as partners”.  

On Thursday, the stock of eClerx remained volatile, fluctuating between the red and green territory. A few minutes past noon, the stock was seen trading at Rs 874.25 per share, up by 0.69 per cent or Rs 6 per share. Its 52-week high is Rs 905.40 and the 52-week low is Rs 323.15 on BSE.
