E-scooter of TVS Motor foray into markets today
TVS Motor, the third-largest motorcycle company in India, recently announced that they have launched iQube, an electric scooter and with that, the company entered into electric mobility segment. The e-scooter makes its grand entry in the markets today.
Priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, the e-scooter has a maximum speed of 78 kilometre per hour and in one full charge, it can travel up to 75 kilometre. The new scooter is equipped with 4. 4 kilowatt electric motor and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometre per hour in 4.2 seconds. This e-scooter comes with TVS SmartXonnect platform consisting of TVS iQube app having advanced features like remote battery charge status, geo-fencing, last park location, navigation, incoming call and message alert functions.
Venu Srinivasan, Chairman of TVS Motor Company, said that they have focussed on green and connected youth of India in their first TVS Electric portfolio.
Presently available only in white colour, TVS iQube can be booked online or through select dealers in Bengaluru with a booking price of Rs 5,000.
At 10.40 am on Monday, the stock of TVS Motor Company Ltd is trading at Rs 473.50, up by 1.00 per cent against its previous close of Rs 468.80. Its 52-week high is Rs 531.25 and its 52-week low is Rs 340.30 on BSE.
