Dr Lal Pathlabs posts strong revenue and bottomline growth

Dr Lal Pathlabs reported stable numbers for the Q4FY18 with strong revenue numbers and strong bottomline growth. 

The revenue for the quarter rose by 21.3 per cent YoY to Rs.267 crore in Q4FY18 as against Rs.220 crore in Q4FY17 and remained unchanged over the previous quarter at Rs 267 crore in Q3FY18. 

The EBITDA for the quarter posted strong growth at 27.4 per cent YoY to Rs.65 crore in Q4FY18 as compared with Rs.51 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. The EBITDA margin expanded by 110 bps YoY and 140 bps QoQ to 24.3 per cent vs 23.1 per cent in Q4FY17 and 22.8 per cent in Q3FY18. 

The bottomline also witnessed strong growth at 27.2 per cent YoY to Rs.40 crore in Q4FY18 as against Rs.32 crore in Q4FY17 and Rs.36 crore in Q3FY18. 

On a full-year basis, the revenue grew by 15.8 per cent YoY to Rs.1057 crore in FY18 vs Rs.913 crore in FY17 and the EBITDA stood at Rs.265 crore in FY18, while the bottomline growth also remained strong at Rs.172 crore in FY18 vs Rs.156 crore in FY17.

The board has recommended dividend of Rs.3 per share on the face value of Rs.10 per share.
