Dish TV plunges 7 per cent post Q1FY20 result
Dish TV reported its numbers for the quarter ended June 2019. The shares tumbled almost 7 per cent intraday on Wednesday.
The company reported a net loss of Rs. 58.71 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 as against a net profit of Rs. 22.49 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company fell substantially by 61.81 per cent at Rs. 399.93 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs. 1,047.29 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On a consolidated basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs. 35.44 crore for the quarter under review as compared to a net profit of Rs. 25.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 44.30 per cent at Rs. 930.93 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs. 1,671.36 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The shares of the company on Wednesday opened at Rs. 27.35 against Tuesday’s close of Rs. 28.40. At 15:26 hours, it was trading at Rs. 27.50, 3.17 per cent lower than its previous close. The intraday high was Rs. 30.10 and intraday low was Rs. 26.10. Its 52-week high was Rs. 73.15 and 52-week low was Rs. 19.25 per share on the BSE
