Dilip Buildcon wins project worth Rs. 972 crore
Shares of Dilip Buildcon soared high as over 2 per cent intraday on Tuesday on the back of the new project bagged by the company.
Dilip Buildcon has received the letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Water Resources Department, Government of Jharkhand. The project consists of the construction of Kharkai Dam at Icha with all control gates and its allied works including civil, Mechanical (with Design of Gates), Electrical and SCADA System under SMP in the state of Jharkhand. The project accounts for Rs. 972.28 crore and the completion period given is 36 months.
Dilip Buildcon’s core business is undertaking construction projects across India in the roads and irrigation sectors. They specialise in constructing state and national highways, city roads, culverts, and bridges.
The shares of the company on Tuesday opened at Rs. 395.10 against Friday’s close of Rs.403.35. At 10:42 hours, it was trading at Rs. 408 per share, 1.15 per cent higher than its previous close. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 420 and intraday low was Rs. 395.10. Its 52-week high was Rs. 888 and 52-week low was Rs. 311.55 per share on the BSE.
