Dilip Buildcon secures Rs 247.06 crore order from Bhopal metro
Dilip Buildcon, India’s largest road construction company, informed the bourses that it has been announced L-1 bidder for Bhopal Metro rail project, Phase-1.
The order is amounting to Rs. 247.06 crore. The expected time to construct the same is 27 months.
During the recently concluded quarter Q1FY19, the company won new orders amounting to Rs. 2,744.1 crore. The net order book as on June 30 stood at Rs. 24,090.3 crore. The company’s order book consists of roads, highways & bridge projects (93 per cent), mining projects (6.55 per cent), Urban development projects (0.54 per cent) and Irrigation projects (0.03 per cent). Further, the Central government contributes 93 per cent and Maharashtra state government contributes 7 per cent to the order book.

On Tuesday, the stock opened at Rs. 854.30 per share and made an intraday high of Rs. 861.30 on the BSE. At 10:28 hours, the stock was trading at around Rs. 859.40 per share on the BSE.
