DHFL raises close to Rs. 11,000 crore via bonds
Dewan Housing Finance Limited (DHFL) raised over Rs. 10,944 crore through public issue of bonds.
The Housing Financier's public issue of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) opened for subscription on May 22, 2018 and had an issue size of Rs. 3,000 crore with an option to retain oversubscription of up to Rs. 9,000 crore aggregating to Rs. 12,000 crore.
DHFL in a regulatory filing on Monday said that the NCD public issue committee of the board has approved the allotment of 10,94,47,863 secured redeemable non-convertible debentures having a face value of Rs. 1,000 each aggregating up to Rs. 10,944.78 crore to the successful applicants. The company will be listing the NCDs on BSE and NSE.
On Monday, DHFL closed at Rs. 600.80 per share, down Rs. 9.80 or 1.60 per cent on BSE. The stock opened at Rs. 615.70 and touched an intraday high of Rs. 616.85 per share on BSE. The stock attracted a trading volume of 1,99,940 shares on NSE.
