Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on March 06

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Monday, the frontline equity indices gained over its previous closing. The 30-share index, Sensex gained 0.69 per cent or 415.49 points and closed at 60,224.46 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,711.45 gaining 0.67 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd, India Glycols Ltd and Swan Energy Ltd.  

Shares of Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd zoomed 19.15 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 281.90 over its previous close of Rs 236.60. Today, the stock hit its upper circuit with the intraday high and low of Rs 283.90 and Rs 238.00, respectively.  

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was India Glycols Ltd, gaining 12.89 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 651.05. Today, the intraday high and low of India Glycols Ltd was Rs 679.50 and Rs 572.05, respectively.  

Swan Energy Ltd also rallied 11.19 per cent and closed at Rs 290.15 over its previous close of Rs 260.95. Today, the intraday high and low of Swan Energy Ltd were Rs 296.45 and Rs 261.00, respectively.
