Days Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on January 02

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Monday, the frontline equity indices finished higher than its previous closing. The 30 share index, Sensex gained 0.54 per cent or 327.05 points and closed at 61,167.79 while the 50 share index, Nifty closed at 18,197.45 up by 0.51 per cent. Some of the shares that gained a lot in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Jaiprakash Associates Ltd, Sindhu Trade Links Limited and Lloyds Steels Industries Ltd.      

Shares of Jaiprakash Associates Ltd zoomed 9.97 per cent in today’s session and closed at its upper limit of Rs 11.03 over its previous close of 10.03. Today, the intraday high and low of Jaiprakash Associates Ltd were Rs 11.03 and Rs 9.95, respectively.        

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Sindhu Trade Links Limited, gaining 9.91 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 18.85, at its upper circuit. Today, the intraday high and low of Sindhu Trade Links Limited were Rs 18.85 and Rs 17.15, respectively.        

Lloyds Steels Industries Ltd also rallied 9.67 per cent at Rs 17.70 over its previous close of Rs 16.14. The intraday high and low of Lloyds Steels Industries Ltd were Rs 17.85 and Rs 15.85, respectively.
