Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on February 27

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Monday the frontline equity indices finished lower than its previous closing. The 30-share index, Sensex declined 0.30 per cent or 175.58 points and closed at 59,288.35, while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,392.70 down by 0.42 per cent. Some of the shares that were the top gainer in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Macrotech Developers Ltd, Olectra Greentech Ltd and Rhi Magnesita India Ltd.      

 Shares of Macrotech Developers Ltd zoomed 12.06 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 806.30 over its previous close of 719.55. Today, the shares of Macrotech Developers touched an intraday high and low of Rs 841.75 and Rs 715, respectively.   

 Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Olectra Greentech, gaining 11.34 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 535.80. Today, the intraday high and low of Olectra Greentech were Rs 558.55 and Rs 500.30, respectively. 

Rhi Magnesita Ltd also rallied 7.42 per cent and closed at Rs 7.42 over its previous close of Rs 616.60. The intraday high and low of Rhi Magnesita Ltd were Rs 671 and Rs 606.75, respectively.
