Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on February 15

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Wednesday, the frontline equity indices finished higher than its previous closing, gaining for the second day in a row. The 30-share index, Sensex gained 0.40 per cent or 242.83 points and closed at 61,275.09 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 18,015.85 gaining 0.68 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Primo Chemicals Ltd, Finolex Cables Ltd and Brightcom Group Ltd.          

Shares of Primo Chemicals Ltd zoomed 19.93 per cent in today’s session and closed at its upper circuit at Rs 73.70 over its previous close of Rs 61.45. Today, the intraday high and low of Primo Chemicals Ltd were Rs 73.70 and Rs 60.10, respectively.   

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Finolex Cables Ltd, gaining 12.65 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 671.95. Today, the intraday high and low of Finolex Cables Ltd was Rs 697.40 and Rs 606.00, respectively.      

Brightcom Group Ltd also rallied 11.60 per cent and closed at Rs 26.45 over its previous close of Rs 23.70. Today, the intraday high and low of Brightcom Group Ltd were Rs 26.85 and Rs 23.50, respectively.
