Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on February 14

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Tuesday, the frontline equity indices finished higher than its previous closing. The 30-share index, Sensex gained 0.99 per cent or 600.42 points and closed at 61,032.26 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,929.85 gaining 0.89 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were National Fertilizers Ltd, Mirza International Ltd and Oil India Ltd.          

Shares of National Fertilizers Ltd zoomed 16.28 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 64.65 over its previous close of Rs 55.60. Today, the shares of National Fertilizers Ltd touched its upper circuit with an intraday high and low of Rs 66.30 and Rs 59.70, respectively.       

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Mirza International Ltd, gaining 13.73 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 257.15. Today, the intraday high and low of Mirza International Ltd were Rs 261.35 and Rs 242.00, respectively.     

Oil India Ltd also rallied 7.25 per cent and closed at Rs 258.10 over its previous close of Rs 240.65. Today, the intraday high and low of Oil India Ltd was Rs 262.20 and Rs 244.95, respectively.
