Days Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on December 28

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Wednesday, the frontline equity indices stood flat after gaining for two days in a row. 30 share index, Sensex slightly declined by 0.03 per cent or 17.15 points and closed at 60,910.28 while 50 share index, Nifty closed at 18,122.50 with a decline of 0.054 per cent. Some of the shares that gained a lot in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were National Fertilizers Ltd, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd and Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd.     

Shares of National Fertilizers Ltd zoomed 16.35 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 77.20 over its previous close of 66.35. Today, the intraday high and low of National Fertilizers Ltd were Rs 78.40 and Rs 65.50, respectively.       

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd, gaining 15.16 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 134.10. Today, the intraday high and low of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd were Rs 137.10 and Rs 115.05, respectively.       

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd also rallied 10.25 per cent at Rs 140.40 over its previous close of Rs 127.35. The intraday high and low of Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd were Rs 142.45 and Rs 126.60, respectively.
