Days Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on December 19

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Monday, the frontline index Sensex finished higher by 0.76 per cent or 468.38 points and closed at 61,806.19. Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd, General Insurance Corporation of India, and Usha Martin Ltd witnessed positive action in today’s session.   

Shares of Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd zoomed 14.34 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 419.80. Today, the intraday high and low Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd were Rs 440.55 and Rs 374.50, respectively.   

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was General Insurance Corporation of India gaining 12.64 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 187.60. Today, the company touched its 52-week high with an intraday high and low of Rs 192.70 and Rs 165.70, respectively.   

Usha Martin Ltd also rallied 11.57 per cent at Rs 148 over its previous close of Rs 132.65. The intraday high and low of Usha Martin Ltd were Rs 153.30 and Rs 133.45, respectively.
