Days Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on December 16

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Wednesday, the frontline index Sensex fell by 0.75 per cent or 461.22 points and closed at 61,337.81. EPL Ltd, National Fertilizers Ltd, and Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited witnessed positive action in today’s session.   

Shares of EPL Ltd zoomed 14.23 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 191. Today, the intraday high and low of EPL Ltd were Rs 193.40 and Rs 166.90, respectively.   

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was National Fertilizers Ltd gaining 10.33 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 75.85. The company has been in its upper circuit and touched its 52-week high with an intraday high and low of Rs 79 and Rs 68.40, respectively.   

Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited also rallied 9.99 per cent at Rs 17.18 over its previous close of Rs 15.62. The intraday high and low of Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited were Rs 17.18 and Rs 15.50, respectively.
