Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on April 12

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Tuesday, the frontline equity indices finished higher than its previous closing. The 30-share index, Sensex gained 0.39 per cent or 235.05 points and closed at 60392.77 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,812.40 and gained 0.51 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were National Fertilizers Ltd, National Standard (India)  Ltd and Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.  

Shares of National Fertilizers Ltd zoomed 13.30 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 86.22 over its previous close of Rs 76.10. Today, the intraday high and low of National Fertilizers Ltd were Rs 89.69 and Rs 75.56, respectively.   

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was National Standard (India)  Ltd, gaining 10 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 6383.55 over its previous close of Rs 5803.25. Today, the intraday high and low of National Standard (India)  Ltd were Rs 6383.55 and Rs 5925, respectively.   

Divi’s Laboratories Ltd also rallied 9.72 per cent and closed at Rs 3212.05 over its previous close of Rs 2927.45. Today, the intraday high and low of Divi’s Laboratories Ltd were Rs 3222.65 and Rs 2931.05, respectively.
