Cyient, Suntech enter global partnership

Cyient and Suntech have signed a partnership agreement to pursue business opportunities, globally. Shares of Cyient were trading on a positive note during Wednesday's trading session.

Suntech, headquartered in Poland, provides services to cable operators, mobile network operators and internet service providers. Its solutions are available under the SunVizion brand.

Cyient is a global provider of engineering, manufacturing, geospatial and network and operations management solutions. Through the business agreement, Cyient’s expertise in system integration, operational excellence and global delivery model when combined with Suntech’s specialized technology will offer customers the best in the OSS solutions.

Cyient will also become a global sales and systems integration partner for Suntech’s software products. The agreement will thus allow the companies to pursue business opportunities globally in the communications industry by leveraging their technical proficiency, market reach, and domain knowledge.

On Wednesday, the shares of the company opened higher at Rs. 619 per share against Tuesday’s close of Rs. 611.65 on the BSE. At 14:30 hours, the share was trading at Rs. 618.25 per share, up by 1.08 per cent. The stock's intraday high was Rs. 625 and intraday low was Rs. 606.10 per share on the BSE. Sensex was at 33,814.58 level, down by 0.10 per cent.
