Closing Bell: HCC, Zee Media, TTML, Bajaj Hindustan lock in at upper circuit; GIC Housing Top Small cap gainer, AVT Natural Products at life-highs!

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries, AVT Natural Product, TARC, Sadbhav Engineering, Genus Power, Sequent Scientific, Uttam Sugar , Alok Textile each gained between 10 per cent and 12.18 per cent. 

BSE Sensex slipped in to red on Tuesday while BSE SmallCap index was marginally down, thus outperforming frontline index. Several stock saw only buyers in the counter such as GTL Infra, TTML, Zee Media and Bajaj Hindustan.

After declaring outstanding growth this quarter GIC Housing was locked in upper circuit gaining by 20 per cent. The stock was also the Top BSE SmallCap gainer along with Nelco which traded in the unchartered territory.

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries, AVT Natural Product, TARC, Sadbhav Engineering, Genus Power, Sequent Scientific, Uttam Sugar , Alok Textile each gained between 10 per cent and 12.18 per cent. 

Career Point was the Top BSE Small Cap loser followed by IFCI and FM Goetze. 

Power Grid, NTPC and Hindustan Unilever were the top Sensex gainers; up by more than 1 per cent each with Power Grid topping the Sensex chart recording gains of 1.75 per cent. Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank and Tech Mahindra were the top Sensex loser, each slipping by more than 1 per cent.
