CDSL first depository to open 4 crore Demat accounts, Aban Offshore receives possession notice & other news to watch out!

Bharat Dynamics: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has signed a contract today worth about Rs 499 crore with the Ministry of Defence for manufacturing & supply of Akash Missiles to Indian Air Force.  

CDSL: CDSL is pleased to announce another noteworthy milestone as it becomes the first depository to open four crore plus (40 million) active Demat accounts.  

Dwarikesh Sugar Industries: The company has embarked upon a project to set up a 175 KLPD distillery at its Dwarikesh Dham Unit, Dist. Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh). Necessary LOIs for the critical equipment are under issuance. The investment required for the proposed capacity addition is Rs 232 crore and the mode of financing are Bank finance (Rs 185.6 crore) & internal accruals (Rs 46.40 crore).   

JSW Ispat Special Products: Crude steel production declined 6 per cent QoQ, while YoY, it jumped 76 per cent YoY.   

Ashiana Housing: The company has repaid Rs 3,25,77,822 on July 07, 2021, against partial redemption of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) listed on BSE Limited. 

Shyam Metalics & Energy: The company’s revenue for Q4FY21 grew by 117 per cent YoY to Rs 2,350.5 crore. Profit after tax also saw a jump of 385 per cent YoY to Rs 387.7 crore. During FY22, the company plans to incur a Capex of Rs 850 crore.  

Aban Offshore: The company has received possession notice for its assets from Punjab National Bank, for the recovery of loan borrowed by the company.
