C&C Construction surges 4 per cent as JV wins order

C&C Construction on Tuesday gained over 4 per cent intraday as the BSC-C&C joint venture won orders worth Rs. 266.22 crore.

The JV has been awarded a project by BSCPL Infrastructure Limited on a sub-contract basis to raise and strengthen Bagmati right embankment and construction of Dhala. Turning platform and anti-flood sluice under the Bagmati flood management scheme phase-III in the state of Bihar.

The share of the C&C Construction is 50 per cent of the total order value, Rs. 266.22 crore.

BSC-C&C was registered in 2015 and has gained immense expertise in offering constructions service for road and highways as well as commercial buildings etc. C & C Constructions Limited is engaged in the construction and maintenance of motorways, streets, roads, other vehicular and pedestrian ways, highways, bridges, tunnels and subways. It is also engaged in rail infrastructure projects and development of commercial buildings.

On Tuesday, the shares of C&C Construction reached an inraday high of Rs. 31.70 per share and an intraday low of 30.80. Its 52-week high was Rs. 108.75 and 52-week low was Rs 27.65 per share on the BSE.

At 10:57 hours, the stock of C&C Construction was quoting Rs. 31.75 per share, up by 4.61 per cent. Meanwhile, the Indian benchmark indices, Nifty50 was trading at 11,734.20 level up by 0.36 per cent and the BSE Sensex was at 38,833.55 level, up by 0.37 per cent.
