Shares of Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company are trending on the bourses today. In today’s session, the share price of this company surged 9.5 per cent over the previous close.
This share price movement has come on the back of a major order win reported by the company on Monday after the market hours. As per the exchange filing, the company has bagged an order worth approximately Rs 150 crore from Ritnand Balved Education Foundation. The order entails the construction work of the Amity Campus in Bengaluru.
With this new order win, Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd's total order inflow during FY23 stands at Rs 863 crore. Amid weak market sentiments, this order win has received a positive response from the markets. Even in the pre-opening session today, the share price of the company rallied 7.09 per cent to trade at Rs 444 apiece.
The stock of Ahluwalia Contracts (India), one of the leading civil contractors in the country was trading at Rs 452.40 apiece at 12.43 pm.
