Buyers' top three picks for today: These Group A stocks saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 370.66 points or 0.65 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened to 57,515.63, signifying gains of 370.41 points or 0.65 per cent. 

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals and power strengthened by half a per cent while auto surged 0.7 per cent. 

Meanwhile, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers, Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd, and Edelweiss Financial Services emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by market forces.   

Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 6.72 per cent to trade at Rs 100.10 apiece. 

Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 5.97 per cent to trade at Rs 12.95 apiece. On Monday, the company reported the completion of activities under its debt resolution plan. 

Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 5.33 per cent to trade at Rs 63.20 apiece.
