Buyers' top three picks for today: These Group A stocks saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 64.97 points. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened to 59,353.08, signifying gains of 107.1 points or 0.18 per cent. 

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 0.2 per cent, power strengthened by 0.1 per cent while auto surged 0.3 per cent. 

Meanwhile, Suzlon Energy, Reliance Power, and Narayana Hrudayalaya emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.  

Suzlon Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 7.85 per cent to trade at Rs 11.40 apiece. On Monday, the company filed a clarification on the disclosure made by SBICAP Trustee Company Limited in the matter of encumbrance over the shares of Suzlon Energy Ltd by the promoters of the company. 

Reliance Power Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 6.01 per cent to trade at Rs 24.70 apiece. On Monday, RPL announced that it has entered into an indicative memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Varde Partners along with its (RPL's) subsidiary. This MoU pertains to availing debt of up to around Rs 1,200 crore (US$ 150 million) for the settlement & discharge and/or acquisition and restructuring of certain financial debt availed by RPL. 

Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 5.70 per cent to trade at Rs 747 apiece. On Monday, the healthcare company signed a business transfer agreement with Shiva & Shiva Orthopaedic Hospital Private Ltd to acquire its orthopaedic & trauma hospital (‘Sparsh Hosur Road’ unit), situated at Narayana Health City campus, Bommasandra Industrial Area, Bengaluru.
