BSE StARMF contributes 88 per cent of industry's Net Equity Inflow in August 2021

India's leading stock exchange, BSE,  registered that its mutual fund distribution platform StAR MF has processed a record 1.41 crore transactions worth Rs 36,277 crore in August 2021.

The platform has recorded transactions beyond its all-time highest monthly record of 1.32 crore transactions achieved in July, 2021 

The transactions were recorded despite of COVID-19 outbreak and the distributors performing their transactions through online platforms.

Overall, the platform recorded 6.28 crore transactions in the first five months i.e from April 2021 to August 2021 of the current financial year as compared to 9.38 crore transactions in the entire 2020-21.

Besides, 9.09 lakh new systematic investment plans (SIPs) amounting to Rs 212 crore were recdorded in the month of August 2021.

BSE had launched the BSE StAR MF app to help distributors and independent financial advisors to register clients on a real-time basis.
