BSE StAR MF registers a new record; processes 2.44 Cr transactions in December 2022

Surpasses its all-time highest monthly record of 2.32 crores transactions in November 2022. India's largest regulated Exchange-based online Mutual Funds Distribution platform – BSE StAR MF- has once again set a new record of 2.44 crores transactions in December 2022 as against its previous best of 2.32 Cr transaction in November 2022.

With all mutual funds and majority distributors channelising their transactions through online platforms, BSE StAR MF is moving consistently towards transforming itself into a unique end-to-end-value based platform.

 

The platform processed 37.75 lakh transactions on December 12th, 2022 outdoing its previous single-day record of 34.29 lakh transactions on October 10th 2022).

Overall, the platform achieved 101per cent of the transaction within nine months which is 18.72 crores during FY 22-23(Apr –Dec) as compared to 18.47 crores transactions during FY 21-22. 

Some of the Key Highlights are:

 

Transactions:

  • For Dec’22 was 2.44 crores compared to 2.32 crores for Nov’22, an increase by 5 per cent.
  • For Dec’22 was 2.44 crores as compared to 1.73 crores for Dec’21, a significant increase by 41per cent
  • Transactions during Q3 FY 22-23 was 6.86 crores as compared to 5.01 crores during Q3 FY 21-22, growth by 37per cent  

Net Equity Inflow:

  • For Dec’22 it was Rs. 5,515 crores compared to Rs 3,704 crores for Nov’22, a significant increase by 49per cent
  • For Dec’22 it was Rs. 5,515 crores compared to Rs. 6,610 crores for Dec’21
  • Net Equity inflow during Q3 FY 22-23 is Rs. 13,616 crores compared to Rs. 21,081

Turnover:

  • For Dec‘22 was Rs. 36,199 crores, compared to Rs. 34,352 crores in Nov’22, an increase by 5per cent
  • For Dec‘22 was Rs. 36,199 Cr., compared to Rs. 39,438 crores in Dec ’21
  • Turnover for Q3 FY 22-23 was Rs.  99,257 crores as compared to Rs. 1,20,074 crores for Q3 FY 21-22

MFDs: 

  • Distributor network has seen multi-fold increase to 74,101 (as on December 2022)

BSE StAR MF App (StAR MF Mobility) has processed over 94.95 lakh transactions since its launch, amounting to Rs. 25,746 Cr as on Dec’22. The app was launched to help Mutual Fund Distributors register clients on real-time basis and execute paperless transactions. The superior support system and distribution reach of BSE StAR MF has led to the exponential growth of the platform with a network of over 74,100 distributors in India.
