BSE Smallcap: These stocks emerged as the top gainers in the sector on July 19

GE Power, Valiant Organics and Nava Bharat Ventures witnessed positive action in today’s session.

 At the closing bell on July 19, the Sensex closed at 54,767.62, up by 0.5 per cent or 246.47 points, while the Nifty index closed at 16,340.55 up 0.4 per cent or 62.05 points. S&P BSE Smallcap closed stronger at 26,367.49 up by 0.88 per cent or 230 points. 

 GE Power, Valiant Organics and Nava Bharat Ventures witnessed positive action in today’s session.  

   GE Power India Ltd witnessed a gain of 19.70 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 149.15. The shares of GE Power hit intraday high and low of Rs 149.50 and 126.40, respectively. At its intraday high, the stock hit the upper circuit of 20 per cent in today’s session. One of the leading players in the Indian power generation equipment market, GE Power was the biggest gainer in the “A” Group in today’s session. 

Valiant Organics Ltd gained 12.52 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 709.60. The shares of Valiant Organics hit intraday high and low of Rs 714 and Rs 625.70, respectively. The company has recently incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary company (Valiant Advanced Sciences Private Limited) of a step-down subsidiary company (Valiant Laboratories Limited). Since then the shares have been rallying on the bourses and with today’s surge, the weekly gain stands at 23 per cent. 

Nava Bharat Ventures Ltd witnessed a gain of 9.31 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 196. Shares of Nava Bharat Ventures hit intraday high and low at Rs 198 and Rs 178.05, respectively.
