BSE SmallCap Index: These top gainers of July slipped in August; have a look!
The BSE Sensex gained by more than 7 per cent in August and has recorded the best monthly performance in 2021 so far. In May 2021, Sensex gained by 7 per cent. BSE SmallCap Index however underperformed in August by slipping by 1.41 percent since the beginning of the month. Several small-cap stocks were seen slipping into the red in August.
