BSE signs MoU with Brink's India
Asia’s first stock exchange BSE entered into an agreement with Brink's India, supporting its long-awaited launch of bullion (gold and silver) commodities trading.
Following the agreement, Brink’s will provide Vaulting and logistic services to BSE for the purpose of storage of gold and silver commodities at various places in India. BSE will also recognize some of Brink’s vaulting as BSE storage and delivery centers.
The following arrangement with Brink’s is part of BSE’s preparation to launch commodity derivatives transactions in its bourses.
In Thursday’s trade, the company hit an intraday high of Rs. 814.75 per share and an intraday low of Rs. 798.25 per share on BSE. The stock had touched its 52-week high of Rs. 1,178.35 per share on July 14, 2017 and its 52-week low of Rs. 726 per share on March 23, 2018 on BSE, respectively.
The stock ended at Rs. 807 per share, higher by 0.09 per cent on BSE on Thursday. Meanwhile, S&P BSE Sensex closed at 34,663.11 level, higher by 0.93 per cent and NSE Nifty50 ended at 10,513.85 level, higher by 0.80 per cent.
