BSE Commodities: These commodity stocks emerged as the top sectoral gainers on September 29

At the closing bell on September 29, the Sensex closed at 56409.96, weaker by 0.33 per cent or 188.32 points.  

  Chemcon Speciality Chemicals Ltd and Prism Johnson Ltd witnessed positive action in today’s session.   

  Chemcon Speciality Chemicals Ltd gained 8.73 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 453.50. The shares of the company have a 52-week high of Rs 482.45 and a 52-week low of Rs 262.30. Chemcon Speciality Chemicals hit intra-day highs and lows of Rs 465.65 and Rs 431.05, respectively. The company is a manufacturer of specialised chemicals, such as HMDS and CMIC which are predominantly used in the pharmaceuticals industry and inorganic bromides, namely Calcium Bromide, Zinc Bromide and Sodium Bromide, which are predominantly used as completion fluids in the oilfields industry.

Prism Johnson Ltd gained 7.86 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 130.35. The shares of the company have a 52-week high of Rs 160 and a 52-week low of Rs 96.75. Prism Johnson Ltd hit intra-day highs and lows of Rs 131.95 and Rs 120.50, respectively. Prism Johnson Limited is one of India’s leading integrated building materials companies, with a wide range of products from cement, ready-mixed concrete, tiles, and bath products. The company has three divisions, viz. Cement, H & R Johnson (India), and RMC (India).
