BSE Capital Goods Index gives the best closing amongst the sectorial indices on Tuesday!

LT, Adani Greens, Havells and GMR Infra put together contributed the most to the BSE Capital index gains.

Frontline indices after roaring in the first half of the trading session on Tuesday retraced from its highs. All the sectorial indices managed to close in green except BSE Realty index, BSE FMCG index and BANKEX.

BSE Capital Goods index was the best performing sectorial index; recording gains of nearly 2 per cent on closing basis on Tuesday.

LT, Adani Greens, Havells and GMR Infra put together contributed the most to the BSE Capital index gains.

Graphite was the top BSE Capital Goods index gainer on Tuesday ; soaring by more than 8 per cent followed by Adani Green up by nearly 5 per cent, GMR Infra up by 4.84 per cent, Finolex Cables strengthening by 3.75 per cent. Index heavyweight LT was up by 2 per cent.

Thermax and Bhel were the top BSE Capital Goods index loser; slipping by nearly 1.7 per cent each.

BSE Capital Goods index is up by 1.4 per cent in one month. On YTD basis the index is up by nearly 20 per cent and in one year the BSE Capital Goods index has gained nearly 78 per cent.
